Daniella Florio graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University.

Holding a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University graduating in 2009. She enjoys all aspects of podiatry including general treatment, musculoskeletal issues, diabetes assessment and treatment. Daniella uses a holistic approach to musculoskeletal issues incorporating different therapies such as strapping, muscle strengthening, stretching and orthotics (custom insoles) all designed to complement body function.

With a keen interest in the assessment and treatment of children’s foot conditions (e.g. flat feet, excessive in toeing or out toeing, toe walking, curly toes). She works closely with paediatric physiotherapists to provide an holistic approach to children’s care.

Daniella also has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Intellectual Disability) with over 20 years’ experience in all aspects in the disability field. She has a particular interest in positive approaches to people with behavioural issues. Over the past nine years she has combined both areas of expertise to support people with disability and participants of the NDIS to access podiatry services. Daniella is also involved with the Special Olympics Melbourne as the Clinical Director in the Healthy Athletes Program (Fit Feet component).

Laura McDonald graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University. She enjoys all aspects of podiatry including general treatment, diabetes assessment and nail surgery for ingrown toenails.

Laura has a keen interest in musculoskeletal issues and uses a variety of strategies to meet an individual’s podiatry needs. In particular, Laura incorporates various techniques in treating conditions including:

  • Strapping and Kinesiology Taping
  • Dry Needling
  • Orthotic Therapy
  • Strengthening and stretching exercises
  • Laura works with AFA Podiatry on Saturdays

Please note: When you book online via Hot Docs on this website, Laura is not available as a practitioner choice. Please note that Laura works most Saturdays, however the appointment will be booked under Daniella Florio’s name
