Our Podiatrists: What we do
A common misconception is that podiatrists primarily cuts toenails and prescribe orthotics. However, the experienced podiatrists at AFA Podiatry look at all aspects of foot and ankle (lower limb) conditions. This includes treating:
- Skin and nail conditions such as ingrown toenails, fungal nail infections, corns, calluses and warts
- Foot conditions such as flat feet, plantar fasciitis, heel pain
- Lower limb conditions such as shin splints, Achilles issues
- Foot issues associated with other systemic conditions such as Diabetes and Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Children's feet: we review a range of issues including gait e.g. flat feet, excessive in-toeing or out toeing, toe walking, curly toes
- We also are a registered podiatry service provider with the NDIS.
